The coronavirus death toll continues to rise at the hospitals run by the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals trust - Preston and Chorley.

Some 104 people have died there after testing positive for Covid-19, up from 103 yesterday, and 92 on Friday.

Some 200 have been discharged and sent home.

There are now at least 2,461 confirmed cases in the council area of Lancashire.

It comes as tests for key workers through the Government's new booking website ran out in England for the second day in a row.

More than 10 million key workers and their households are eligible.

Yesterday, the road near Preston's College - where there's a testing site - was shut due to the "sheer level of congestion for people" accessing it, police site.

The site is a stone's throw from Royal Preston Hospital.
