A dog owner has called out a ‘psycho’ who smeared dog poo on her car, accusing her of not picking up after her pooch.

The woman took to Facebook to share her disgust after she found the nasty surprise dumped on her car in New Longton on Sunday.

“Get your facts straight before causing criminal damage and behaving like a complete fruit loop,” she commented, saying she was the victim of mistaken identity.

She had been visiting her elderly mum at The Brambles Rest Home in Park Avenue and had taken her dog for a quick walk down the quiet cul-de-sac beforehand.

Her dog had a wee on a grass verge outside one of the homes and when she later returned to her car she found dog poo smeared over her windows and wing mirrors.

“You left this on my garden. Next time pick it up,” warned a note left on her windscreen.

“My dog couldn’t even do a poo that big! And don’t skulk round hedges peeking for me to come back - you’ll never make a master criminal, just identified yerself!! Police have been informed!!”

Lancashire Police were approached for comment.
