Octagon stages US classic
Following the huge success of both Of Mice and Men and The Glass Menagerie during the Octagon’s 2012-2013 Season, the Bolton theatre’s artistic director David Thacker directs another classic American Drama: Long Day’s Journey Into Night (from October 10 to November 2), by Eugene O’Neill.
The playwright shares, with uncompromising truth and honesty, the pain, anguish and guilt faced by his own family, in his most moving and compelling drama.
The actors playing the Tyrone family in Long Day’s Journey Into Night have been ‘through cast’ from An Inspector Calls, the Octagon’s current production.
