Chorley keeper Sam helps teaching youngsters the ropes

Chorley FC hosted another successful soccer school, led by Magpies goalkeeper Sam Ashton in the May half-term.

More than 50 boys and girls, aged six-14 were able to take part in a range of fun and exciting sessions.

The youngsters were also treated to a trip to Premier League club Manchester United and had a tour of their Old Trafford ground.

Soccer school coordinator Ashton said: “Our soccer schools provide children of all abilities with the opportunity to take part in football and half-term proved to be a great success. It was great to see them develop over each session.

The next soccer schools take place from August 2-4 and August 23 -25.
