Car stolen from Penwortham used in string of burglaries
Forensic experts are examining a car which was stolen in Penwortham and used in a string of burglaries.
The vehicle was discovered in a street in Preston bearing false number plates.
Police say it was stolen by thieves when they burgled a property in Penwortham and was then used in several commercial break-ins.
The two-seater Smart car has been recovered and taken away for forensic tests.
