Hartleys Wine Bar is back to its former glory after a fire – with exciting new seasonal menus and cocktails

Hartleys Wine Bar is back in business with Preston’s grand venue looking better than ever after restoration work.

A fire put the wine bar out of action in August, but exciting new menus and cocktails are making it the place to book in Preston for Halloween, winter and Christmas gatherings.

Book for Christmas season

Get ahead with your Christmas booking**. Hartleys Wine Bar owner Steve Yates, who has more than 30 years of culinary experience as a chef, has already put together a mouth-watering menu.

Choose from warming roast pepper and tomato soup or a stylish king prawn cocktail starter, before tucking into traditional roast turkey or beef with all the trimmings. Vegetarians will love the beetroot and butternut squash wellington.

Christmas pudding with brandy sauce or a mixed cheese board will complete your feast, for just £18 for three courses, or £13.99 for two courses. Children are welcome for two courses at £9.50 or three courses for £11.

There is a 10% discount for Preston retailers – from November 17 to December 28.

Light lunch deal

Lighter bites for smaller appetites are available from Monday to Saturday, noon-4pm. Choose a main and add a starter and/or dessert for just £2.25 each.

Hire Hartleys for your meeting, function or baby shower

The Backroom Bar is their most sought-after space, holding up to 40 guests and with the option of an exclusive bar.

For a more intimate setting, their raised area provides a private seating area for up to 20 guests. While the Main Booth in the centre of the bars seats up to 10 guests.
