Where the 13 out of contract Preston North End players in 2025 stand, heading into next season...
5. Ryan Ledson
The upcoming season will be Ledson's seventh at Deepdale. Since winning Player of the Year in 2020/21, the midfielder's form has peaked and troughed. The importance of 2024/25, individually, will therefore not be lost on him. He'll be well aware that a new contract is not a given and that it'll need to be earned. | CameraSport - Andrew Kearns
6. Josh Seary
Whether it's getting more minutes for the first team or going out on loan and impressing, next year feels important for Seary to show some clear progress. There was similar hype around Lewis Leigh during his academy days and he looks set to leave Preston this summer. Seary's position is something that's on his side, as there is a clear opportunity for him there - if he can convince. | Camera Sport
7. Liam Lindsay
There could be few complaints if Lindsay's contract was extended after he played every single league game last season and won Players' POTY. North End could certainly do to boost competition for him back there, but the Scot has put himself in strong contention for a new deal. | CameraSport - Dave Howarth
8. Andrew Hughes
Hughes is also heading into his seventh season as a Preston player, and at 32-years-of-age it'll be a case of seeing how he fares next year. Injuries have cropped up from time to time but he did make 39 appearances in 2023/24, which was nine more than the previous campaign. | CameraSport - Dave Howarth
